GPRS Gateway
Cyan's GPRS Gateway module provides a bridge between its Ethernet, serial and USB connections and Cyan's Cy-Net mesh network. The board includes a GPRS module to allow customer connection through the GPRS network.
Applications include:
- Utility metering
- Street and tunnel lighting
Cy-Net offers a robust self-forming, self-healing mesh network. It runs RF hardware at the common frequency bands: 433 MHz, 470MHz, 865MHz, 915MHz and 2.4GHz. Cy-Net is able to do this by using its modular architecture, allowing different software drivers to be used with different RF transceiver parts.
